Why I wore a mask?

  

I wore a mask not to protect myself from the virus,

But to guard me against the mindless

I wore a mask not to shield my skin

But to fake my every grin!

I wore a mask not to avoid dust in case

But to hide my bleeding face.

I wore a mask not to breathe disease frequent

But to keep my face marks secret

I wore a mask not because everyone else wore

But to not highlight my worries and ignore.

I wore a mask not because the world should stay bliss

But to not make my parents see how dull my face is

I wore a mask to not be cautious

But to smile falsely flawless!

 When Corona hit the world

Human body parts became old

Fashioned a new dress for our faces

And stopped roaming to places

A ‘new normal’ arrived

But not many survived

Everything changed – including the works

The Corona kept saying – “Hi Folks!”

Relationships never scattered,

However, lives mattered.

Yet none were aware of its departure

Sometimes, we owe that creature

A happy house-arrest fun

100s failed to admire the sun

Family became a priority

But works were considered the majority

Online classes were boring

Half of you experienced online snoring

Team meeting without brushing

Again, taking a nap seemed refreshing

Never mind if you haven’t learnt anything new

Because now you have a different view

Choosing to ignore became mandatory

2021 was an unforgettable factory!

 

 

COFFEE – the cyclone

Strongest among the peers

Consistently, the medium preferred with cheers,

Cold, it scores better;

Coffee lover – I earned a letter

The beans that are smashed

Oh! The texture splashed.

Combined honey with the love

Assets even hold the holy cow

Stir the drink with a gold spoon

Eyes closed proposing the moon

Feel the essence of hot, brown

Goes priceless with a black crown

Splendid, it tastes!

Not a drop I waste

Sipped the first mouth

Disappeared the command of the south

Up, I stood on a cliff.

Urging to touch the aroma of coffee!

Life at Bangalore!

The salubrious relationship beings

Helping this create a sanguine start

Which made people satiate completely

      With the output that comes.     
                  

The scud products which scale to the utmost

Having the company with joy and hard work.

The top one kindles the next mind sitting

In the life of Bangalore!

Paley Parade

Some untruth parading as history

Bends even the banyan tree;

The white blinds move,

Shows and way to unscrew

A babel of voices in the mind-

Repels sort of some kind.

Being a bourgeois one

Difficult to find a way in ton;

An amour with the dark side

Chose the way to ride

Along the new formats of cloud

And can be spelled aloud

That, one will pellucid the thought

Then, never I will be caught.

Way back Home

Initially a nerd person,

Considered as head of the family.

Left us in a solitary house,

Not ‘home’ in his absence.

Weekly leaving the place

And travels to a zeroed land

Of no love, care, and food

Makes even us feel the same.

The realm he left

Had nothing for us to do

Made us wait till Friday

For his return to our home

But he gave his heart

To his half and legal heirs

We did that too

When once he left the place.

Every time he seemed reluctant to leave

Which made salt waters stand in our eyes.

Though we stopped it’s fall

We again waved a ‘bye’ with a fake smile.

                                                                                   

The guy who is my Partner!

An energetic human

Found among few men

Who sprinted through the hurdle

Whose absence made me doodle.

I was loyal except once

For that, he shot with all his guns

My nature was not to downpour-

Yet I do that when he starts to roar.

Had my lungs but not my heart,

Proves that love has done its part

Selection of textures over his food

Made me feel- he was so good

When I utter the word ‘thanks’,

It bounces back as he never ranks

Designing new lifestyles

For youngsters to go miles

My dear, you nestled in my mind

And got the name for being kind;

Wait, I have one more

No doubt, it’s the love between us to the core!

An invincible warrior!

You are an ardent man

And proud to say that I'm your fan-

Your vigor is a great inspiration

In your absence, my heart feels a burning sensation

I always adhere to your great love

I am elated if you are with me right now;

Your thoughts are hilarious

Which are entertaining and humorous ;

At ease, if I am under you

Everyone can find it without any clue.

May you gleam in your life

In an ecstatic way with your wife,

Never you keep us in privation

I believe that you have the power of creation,

The love which I have on you is a lot!

Without you, I cannot taste a cup hot!

                              

Yes, I am alone :(

People ought to care each other

This even includes an individual's mother

Stealing loneliness with quiet pace,

For problems not to face

No calling, no messages-

Enquiring my solitary pages

I'm now off, for peace

And I have my own path keys;

No fellow creatures to wish

Interesting to make my own dish.

No people to be known

Tough Life

A diligent game

Played very carefully

I eagerly wait

For the next few moments

Sometimes fall in agony

And thereby in vain

I sometimes become freak

For a useless stupid thing

And indulge in some fray

Where my heart is a fragile part

I’m fraught with danger

When I’m more and more in harass

People do gaze at me

And comment as they wish

I try my best

To zap my ‘tough life’.

                                                 

Just you, my sis!

The love which I showed you,

Cannot be measured even

With the size of the universe,

Where we people live

Never has it gone away-

The thoughts we shared.

It lasts in my mind and heart,

Whatever may be the situation?

It’s a twilight background

When we are too lippy;

You and I have N-number of codes

To talk, write and type.

My life with you is-

A sparking spectrum.

I am excited about

When I see you again;

The moments we spend together

Is like a sun on the horizon

Which is so splendid

And gives beauty to our lives.

You and I are just born

When we know each other,

I live with you in my heart

And it lasts forever;

We sometimes are night-owls

When we start talking.

Never has it panged me

As I have never left you alone

And yet there are lots to say

About the relationship we experienced

The best of ever got

Is just you, my SIS!
